Market Of Stars Token of Love Scarf
When we found this black-and-white embroidered panel from 1821 we fell for it instantly! Thoughtfully stitched by artist Agnes Dickinson, it features the words “Token of Love” and “Those absent yet beloved” in amongst the birds, wreaths and flowers. We turned it in to a print and married it with another work of art — a French woodcut heart made by Lucienne Marchal featuring the words (in French) “I hope you get everything your heart desires this year"
Wear them wrapped once around the neck, tucked in to a jacket, or tied in the hair. Made from soft bamboo & wood viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel. Measuring 68cm x 160cm.
